Welcome to FabulousFables.com, the place where we read to change the world. The path to happiness is down the path of brotherhood. We want to help feed hungry children. FabulousFables.com was contributing to other worthy causes, but we have decided to focus only on saving starving children. I ask you for $10 a year to join the club. I ask you for nothing else except that you read the stories.

Half your membership fee goes to improve the lives of children, and that is how we change the world.

FabulousFables.com offers you stories, including: The Evil Turtle, The White Hawk, The Hunter, The Horse, The Magnificent Horse, The Rooster, The Dog, The Great Horned Owl, The Fearsome Snowman, Gilbert the Dancing Hummingbird, Turtle and Jackrabbit and Rufus the Snot-Nosed Reindeer.

                                                                    Club philosophy

alt     We
offer a safe, positive place to read and to be entertained.

This website is growing and evolving, but I promise to keep it simple and affordable. I plan to expand the stories to include slide shows, audio and multiple language options. That is what the other $5 of your membership fee will do. It will be used to improve this website. The club is limited only by our imaginations. Join the adventure.

Can we really change the world?

There are those, called naysayers, who say, "Ha, you can't change the world. That is too big a job."

To them, I say, "Maybe acting alone I can't change the world, but together we are a powerful force, and we will change the world."

We can make a difference only if we do it together. Our success depends on our membership numbers. Tell your friends, your brothers and sisters, your parents, everyone, about FabulousFables.com. Encourage them to join. Raise money for your non-profit organization, your school. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something. At FabulousFables.com, we believe in you and your ability to succeed in whatever you do. We believe you can change the world.

Go to the Change the world page, where I lay out my vision.

FabulousFables.com wants all children to play. All children should have the opportunity that most of us have, to run, to jump, to laugh, to shout, to have friends.

Too many children in this world are dying of starvation, about 5 million a year. Let's save as many children and their families as we can. Let's help them survive. There is horrible suffering occurring in the world right now.

I report to you on the good we do together via our Who we've helped page.
It is our duty on this earth to help others. We follow the Golden Rule. Join us.

Biography

     My name is David Madrid.

I write and draw for FabulousFables.com. I have been a journalist for 20 years. I also work for The Arizona Republic/azcentral.com in Phoenix, Arizona.

I have been a children book aficionado since the age of 2, when I first remember my mother introducing me to the wonderful world of books. My wife and muse, Jacque, suggested I make these stories available to you.

Stories are my passion. Telling them is what I do best. My job is to write and draw for this website. I research and find the most deserving non-profit entities we support with our donations.

Artist

FabulousFables.com is happy to introduce Vincent Rogers, who has begun illustrating for the website. He began in August 2009 with the black-and-white art for The Magnificent Horse, and we look forward to presenting you with more of his work. I will let Vincent tell you about himself:

"My name is Vincent, and I’m 18 years old. I try to fulfill the whole artist thing as much as possible. I draw, paint, sketch, sculpt, doodle, write, build, I even play the guitar and ukulele. Currently I’m going to college to become an art teacher (art professor later on). But being an illustrator has always been one of the top art-related occupations that I’ve wanted to do. Since the K through 12 public school scene, I’ve tried to find the label that fit me. And only a month or so before graduating I realized that I’ve always been an artist."

FabulousFables.com L.L.C. is dedicated to contributing to the greater good.
